“Legnica” Quality Testing Division (WBJ-1)
The “Legnica” Quality Testing Division (WBJ) is located on the premises of the “Legnica” Copper Smelter.
It performs:
- tests of quality of the technological process of copper production in the “Głogów” Copper Smelter – copper concentrates, briquette, slag and smelting dusts, copper matte, anode slime, fire- refined copper and copper refined in an electrolytic process, sulphite lye, coke, hard bituminous coal and brown coal, sulphuric acid, copper sulphate, nickel sulphate, other,
- measurement and analytical works,
- tests regarding natural environment protection (e.g. measurements of emission and imission of dust and gas contaminants and measurements of efficiency of dust removal systems),
- comprehensive analyses of waters, sewage and sludge.
